Google has launched its People Cards feature for mobile search users in India. You can create your presence on Google Search by creating a people card. Google People Card is a virtual business card with your relevant information, people will be able to search and discover your card in google search results.
Create Google People Card
Creating a google people card is very easy. For this you need An Android phone or tablet, or an iPhone or iPad; A mobile browser or the Google Search app and a personal Google Account. Now follow the steps as shown below to create your Google People Card:
- Go to your mobile device, open google.com on the browser or open the Google Search App. You must be login into your google account on the device’s browser/app.
- Search for your name, you can also search add me to google or edit my people card. Here when I searched my name, the people card option was not appearing so I searched the add me to google.
- At the top of the search results, you will find the option to Add yourself to Google Search. Tap on Get started to proceed.
- Fill in the information that you want to show publicly on your people card.
- Tab on the Preview button available at the bottom.
- It will show your people card. If it is OK then tap on the Save button.
- You will get a success message that Your search card has been updated and will appear in search results shortly.
- Tap on View Search Card to see how it will look.
Important Notes:
- It can take up to a few hours for your card to show up in Google Search results.
- This feature is only available in India for users that have their set language to English. This feature isn’t available yet on the desktop.
