How to Crop an Image in macOS with Preview

To reduce unnecessary parts of an image or to improve the composition of an image cropping is an important function image editing function.

To crop a picture on macOS with the preview tool follow the steps given below. Preview is an in-built tool in macOS to view the pictures.

  • Now select the Rectangular Section from selection tools, the default selection option is rectangular if you want to change it then you may change it to Elliptical or Lasso selection.03 How to Crop an Image in macOS with Preview

  • Click on the Crop button, or you may also use the keyboard shortcut Command+K to crop the picture.
