Problem

I was using Microsoft Teams on MacOS Catalina when I tried to share a screen through teams, the selection window was showing nothing to share as shown below:

Reason

Accessibility and Screen Recording was not enabled in the Security and Privacy setting for Microsoft Teams on macOS Catalina.

Solution

Follow the below steps to allow screen sharing through Microsoft Teams:

• Open System Preferences >> Security & Privacy and go to the Privacy tab.

• Select the Accessibility option from the left side and click on the lock icon available at the bottom left corner.
  

  03. Allow screen sharing through Microsoft Teams on MacOS Catalina

• Check the check-box against Microsoft Teams.
  

  04. Allow screen sharing through Microsoft Teams on MacOS Catalina

• Now, select the Screen Recording option from the left side.
  

  05. Allow screen sharing through Microsoft Teams on MacOS Catalina

• Check the check-box against Microsoft Teams.
  

  06. Allow screen sharing through Microsoft Teams on MacOS Catalina

• Open the Microsoft Teams app and you will be able to share your screen.
