Getting the serial number for your 3PAR is one of those regular things you will need support from HPE support team. 3PAR has 2 serial numbers one 3PAR and another one HPE Serial number.

Get the Serial Number of 3PAR Storage

Use any command from below to get the serial number of 3PAR.

• Run showsys command to get 3PAR serial number.

Get the Serial Number of HPE 3PAR Storage

When you need to log a case with the HPE support team then you need the HPE 3PAR Storage serial number which is different from the above one. You can get the HPE 3PAR serial number by running the below command from CLI.

• Run shownode -i -svc command. Saleable_Serial is the serial number which you need to share with the support team for the case log.
