IBM Lotus Notes (iNotes) webmail interface by default have the option start with to filtering the emails, in which you have the option to sort the emails on different columns and search the entries that start with the specified date, size etc.How to enable search in the IBM Lotus Notes 01

You can search the emails through full-text search in IBM Lotus Notes but you need to enable this option in the preferences.

Enable the full-text email search option

  • Click on the Preferences option in the top-right menu.How to enable search in the IBM Lotus Notes 04
  • In the Basic section under Search, check the box Enable full-text indexing for searching.How to enable search in the IBM Lotus Notes 05
  • Done! now you have a search box in the top right corner of the middle frame when a mailbox tab is active.How to enable search in the IBM Lotus Notes 06
